Because Larchmont is conveniently located!The Village of Larchmont is 18 miles from midtown Manhattan, convenient to Manhattan and Long Island production offices. Easily accessible by car via I-95.
Every inch of our one-square mile Village is just a quick walk from the Larchmont Metro North station, only a 33-minute express ride from/to Grand Central Terminal.

The Larchmont community has an historically deep connection to the arts, with residents from the entertainment industry starting with the vaudeville and silent film era through recently produced theatre, movies and TV. We even have a mural celebrating some of our most famous stars from the past!

Our municipal officials and staff are experienced with handling the needs of TV/Film production and our local businesses stand ready to provide catering and supplies. Ben is Back, HBO’s Succession and Mrs. Fletcher, and MSG Network’s Four Courses are just a few of the many productions filmed in Larchmont in the past few years.
Film PermitsFilm permits are coordinated through the Village Clerk’s Office and issued by the Village Administrator. The film permit application details the basic information the Village needs in order to timely process your permit. The Village may reach out with additional questions or request for clarification. A timely and complete application will ensure that your filming permit is reviewed expediently. A security deposit of $2,500 is required upon submission of a film permit application.
