The Village of Larchmont is an independent assessing unit. As such, all property values within the Village of Larchmont are set by the Village Assessor for Village tax purposes. The Town of Mamaroneck also determines assessments on Village parcels, which impact school, town, and county taxes levied thereof.
The Village employs a part-time Assessor, who in addition to managing the Village assessment roll, also updates property card information and exemption statuses, specifically Veterans (Active Duty, Combat, and Disabilities), Senior Citizen (65+), Disability, and Not-for-Profit exemptions.
All other property exemptions are managed by the Town Assessor.
