Announcement Regarding 2018 Parking Permits

What: We are making a change! 2018 parking permits sold this November will be valid only from January 1st – May 31st, 2018! These 5-month permits will cost 5/12th of the annual permit fee.

Why: The Village has decided to have all permit terms coincide with our fiscal year, which starts June 1st. This allows us to better predict revenue and review the fees and charges during our annual budget sessions, when we review all other Village fees and charges.

How: Beginning November 13, 2017, we will sell permits that will be valid for the period of January 1 through May 31, 2018. In early May, all Village residents who are holders of a Lot #1 commuter parking permit will be given an exclusive opportunity to renew their permits for the annual period of June 1, 2018 through May 31, 2019. After that we will open sales for all remaining permit types. We will make the renewal process as easy as possible. Details will be sent to all permit holders in spring.

2018 Parking Permit Sale Dates: (no permits sold prior to these dates)

For Village Residents & Merchants OnlyMonday, November 13 and Tuesday, November 14

For Town and Out-of-Town ResidentsWednesday, November 15

Hello Larchmont!

Here is a link to our new Bike Lane Guidelines and Safety Tips.

This is for cyclists, drivers and pedestrians!

A few important things to stress, based on recent questions and comments:

Bike lanes are for bikes ONLY! No joggers, walkers or cars – Thanks!

Riding bikes on the sidewalk is illegal and unsafe, please dismount and walk your bike.

Please be aware of each other on the road – and follow all traffic regulations.
