Larchmont Village Elections – Village Elections are held on the third Tuesday of March every year. At that time, Larchmont Village residents vote for their government leaders and officials, including Mayor, Trustees, and, on alternating years, Village Justices. The terms of the Mayor and Trustees are two years, varying in expiration. The terms of the Village Justices are four years, also varying in expiration. PLEASE NOTE: The 2017 Village Election will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
General Elections – General Elections are held on the second Tuesday of November each year. At that time, Larchmont Village residents vote for Federal, State and County leaders, as well as for Town of Mamaroneck officials. RESOLVED, that on this day, October 20, 2014, to reduce the number of Village of Larchmont Election Districts from four to one pursuant to Election Law 15-110 (2), one hundred and twenty days prior to the next Village Election being held on March 18, 2015 and this election district will be within the boundaries of the Village of Larchmont.
Polls are open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM for Village elections. The district voting will be at the Larchmont Village Center, 119 Larchmont Avenue (behind the Library).
VILLAGE DISTRICT 1 (Town Districts 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 26)

For Village Elections, voter registration forms are required to be filed with the Westchester County Board of Elections, 25 Quarropas Street, White Plains, New York 10601. Detailed information on voter registration may be found on the Westchester County Board of Elections’ web site, www.westchestergov.com/boe.
Call the Village Clerk’s Office (834-6230, press 2) for deadlines for Absentee ballot applications. Please note that you may not submit an application for an absentee ballot solely because your regular and daily place of business is located outside of Westchester County.

All National, State, County or Special Elections are handled by the Westchester County Board of Elections. Questions or details about those elections should be addressed to them at (914) 995-5700. - If you live in Town District 6, you vote at Chatsworth Avenue School, corner of Forest Park Avenue and Chatsworth Avenue.
- If you live in Town District 7, you vote at Chatsworth Avenue School, corner of Forest Park Avenue and Chatsworth Avenue.
- If you live in Town District 8, you vote at the Larchmont Village Center, 119 Larchmont Avenue (behind the Library).
- If you live in Town District 9, you vote at the Chatsworth Avenue School, corner of Forest Park Avenue and Chatsworth Avenue.
- If you live in Town District 10, you vote at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Parish Hall, on Linden Avenue.
- If you live in Town District 26, you vote at Larchmont Village Center, 119 Larchmont Avenue (behind the Library).
The public school system for Village of Larchmont residents is the Mamaroneck Union Free School District. The system has an appointed Superintendent of Schools, but an elected Board of Education. Elections for Mamaroneck School Board members and School Budget are usually held in May of each year. All school district voting takes place in your local elementary school.
