Larchmont Village Elections – Village Elections are held on the third Tuesday of March every year. At that time, Larchmont Village residents vote for their government leaders and officials, including Mayor, Trustees, and, on alternating years, Village Justices. The terms of the Mayor and Trustees are two years, varying in expiration. The terms of the Village Justices are four years, also varying in expiration. General Elections – General Elections are held on the second Tuesday of November each year. At that time, Larchmont Village residents vote for Federal, State and County leaders, as well as for Town of Mamaroneck officials. Polling Places for Village Elections
Polls are open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM for Village elections. The Village has four voting districts. All districts vote at the Larchmont Village Center, 119 Larchmont Avenue (behind the Library).
- Village District 1 (also known as Town District 8 )
- Village District 2 (also known as Town Districts 6 and 7)
- Village District 3 (also known as Town Districts 9 and 26)
- Village District 4 (also known as Town District 10 )

For Village Elections, voter registration forms are required to be filed with the Westchester County Board of Elections, 25 Quarropas Street, White Plains, New York 10601. Absentee Ballots
Call the Village Clerk’s Office (834-6230, press 2) for deadlines for Absentee ballot applications. Please note that you may not submit an application for an absentee ballot solely because your regular and daily place of business is located outside of Westchester County.

Voting in National or Other Special Government Elections
All National, State, County or Special Elections are handled by the Westchester County Board of Elections. Questions or details about those elections should be addressed to them at (914) 995-5700. Village residents vote in different locations for these elections:
- If you live in Town District 6, you vote at Chatsworth Avenue School, corner of Forest Park Avenue and Chatsworth Avenue.
- If you live in Town District 7, you vote at Chatsworth Avenue School, corner of Forest Park Avenue and Chatsworth Avenue.
- If you live in Town District 8, you vote at the Larchmont Village Center, 119 Larchmont Avenue (behind the Library).
- If you live in Town District 9, you vote at the Chatsworth Avenue School, corner of Forest Park Avenue and Chatsworth Avenue.
- If you live in Town District 10, you vote at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Parish Hall, on Linden Avenue.
- If you live in Town District 26, you vote at Larchmont Village Center, 119 Larchmont Avenue (behind the Library).
Mamaroneck School Board and Budget Elections
The public school system for Village of Larchmont residents is the Mamaroneck Union Free School District. The system has an appointed Superintendent of Schools, but an elected Board of Education. Elections for Mamaroneck School Board members and School Budget are usually held in May of each year. All school district voting takes place in your local elementary school.
