Tom was a well-respected twenty-year member of the Larchmont Police Department.  His loss has saddened both the Larchmont and Carmel communities he loved, and his colleagues here in Larchmont have lost a special member of their “Village family.”

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Captain Sullivan’s son, Thomas, Jr., and to the rest of his family.  Our thoughts and prayers are with them in this time of sorrow.

It has been announced that a fund has been set up for Thomas, Jr.  If you would like to contribute to this fund, checks made payable to Thomas J. Sullivan, Jr., may be sent to:  Thomas J. Sullivan, Jr. Fund, P. O. Box 473, Commack, New York  11725.

• A Children’s Daytime Tennis Clinic will be held in Flint Park on May 24, 2012  (date changed from May 5).  It will start at 1:00 PM.  Children must bring their own racquet.
• The Run is Back…..Registration forms are now available for  Sprint for Flint – Larchmont Run 2012.  (Click on link for application).  It will be held on Friday, June 15, starting at 6:00pm with a one-mile kid’s fun run, and continuing at 6:45pm with the 5k competitive race.  A post-race party will be held at the American Legion in Flint Park and will include a DJ, food and beverages.  Don’t be left out!  Register today at Larchmont Village Hall.
