Traffic Commission

The Traffic Commission is a five-member board, comprised of Village residents appointed by the Village Board of Trustees who serve at a volunteer capacity to three-year terms. 

The Commission is responsible for reviewing and adopting traffic regulations in the Village, including matters relating to one-way streets, speed limits, placement of stop signs and other traffic-related signage. The Commission also reviews on-street parking regulations on residential streets outside the business districts. 

The Commission responds to requests from residents, including installation of stop or traffic regulation signs, changes to parking rules in a particular location, alteration of speed limits in a given area, etc.

• Days: Typically, the first Tuesday of each month, except August
